The Bosch Engineering Centre of Budapest has been established in 2001. Today, it is a major research and development hub within the Bosch world focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. The divisions Chassis Systems Control (CC) and Automotive Steering (AS) develop innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance. Through the combination of systems based on cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors, electric power steering and active or passive safety systems we not only make driving safer and more comfortable today but we are also building the basis for the autonomous driving of tomorrow.
Your contribution to something big:
►Perform different simulations for leading automotive products (FEM, NVH os Simulink,Carmaker,GT-Suite)
►Investigate vehicle and powertrain concepts and vehicle controls by means of simulation
►Integrate simulation models from different domains (mechatronic, electric and thermal systems of vehicles)
►Analyses the result of the simulations and offer recommendations for the product development team
►Development of simulation methods and tools
►Technical collaboration with different technical units as member of an international team
►Creating documentation and present the results for multidisciplinary teams
►Closed loop traffic simulation and Software-in-the-Loop environment as a tool for HAD development: - Coupling HAD software with traffic and vehicle simulation tools - Automation of simulation tasks - Interfaces for fault injection as well as KPI and ground truth extraction
What distinguishes you:
►Bsc/Msc in computer science, automation, electronics and telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable.
►Motivation to explore and learn product as a complete system
►C++ programming skills is an advantage
►Great problem solving skills and analytic mind with process orientation
►English and/or German language knowledge
►Experience with at least one of the followings: FEM, NVH,Simulink,Carmaker or GT-Suite
►Experience with powertrain solutions, control technology or thermodynamics
►Prior experience with simulation related tasks or projects is an asset
►Knowledge of simulation software (Ansys, Abaqus,Linux or comparable)
►Systematical and logical thinking
►Ability to work within a technical team effectively and represent the simulation field in the product development
