Global Assignments Administrator (Associate or Senior Associate)
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Reports to: Senior Manager Global Assignments
Summary of the role:
As part of our Global Assignment team we are looking for a Senior Administrator to join us. You will manage aspects of international assignments, including coordination of international assignee mobilizations; administration and implementation of international assignment policy; and coordination of international assignment tax compliance. The position would suit you if you are interested in a career in administration, HR or global mobility. On the job training and in-house / external formal training will be provided as required.
Your key responsibilities:
•You will manage international assignments and act as the main point of contact for assignees
•producing assignment letters, notes of meeting, issuing employee tracking tool and tracking compliance
•coordinating and performing day-to-day administration activities in support of international assignments
•management of service provider invoices
•support team document control, data entry and filing
•preparing compensation summaries for use by external vendors in the delivery of shadow payroll and tax return services
•coordinating and applying for social security certificates of coverage and tracking expiration dates for all relevant moves
•additional Ad hoc requests
Required Skills & Experience:
•Understanding and appreciation about income taxes and social security rules & regulations across multiple European countries
•Understanding and appreciation of payroll concepts like hypo taxes, shadow payroll etc.
•Communication Skills: You will be collaborating with co-workers on all levels and management. You need to be able to listen and communicate effectively.
•Numeracy skills: Confident with formula’s, numbers, and setting up spreadsheets
•Attitude: Can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a busy atmosphere
•Excel skills: Proficient level (Advanced level)
•Language skills: Fluent in English verbally and in writing
The following experience or skills are an advantage:
•Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and flexibility to work with a remote team and manager
•Knowledge of European languages other than English
•Microsoft Word and other Microsoft office tools (You must be expert in Excel though)
•Knowledge of Human Resources, Finance or Taxation through education or work experience
•Previous experience of managing social security certificate of coverage processes and tracking
•Any previous experience of dealing with employee relocations, assignments, travel etc.
