As Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for the payroll process for Cognizant employees across the European continent. This role reports to the Payroll Manager European Finance SSC. You will support the transition of the assigned European Payroll processes to the Finance Shared Service Centre with the aim of providing detail-level payroll administration support to the in Country payroll subject matter expert.
- Help Collate data for internal/external audit
- Review, upload, code & route invoices for approval / payment
- Maintain working relationships with KBP (HR, Finance, Stock Admin, Tax, Internal audit)
- Support in Country SME with payroll administration tasks
- Assist with resolution of employee queries
- Relevant ad hoc duties and special projects as requested by management
- Relevant experience in a similar position
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills (Power Point and Access skills a plus);
- Excellent command of English both written and verbal
- Additional European language (for example German) is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure & to deadlines
- Energetic, initiative and service oriented personality
